DAY 1

Day 1 November 03

Arrival Book your flight to Kenya to arrive by November 03 2023 or earlier. We shall pick you up at the Airport and transfer you to the hotel for accommodation. If you are planning to arrive earlier we will organize your accommodation upon request. Accommodation: Fairmont The Norfolk

DAY 2

Day 2 November 4th

Nairobi - Maasai Mara
We will have breakfast, Check out of the hotel and start our adventure by proceeding to Masai mara national reserve. This is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya. It is one of the most famous and important wildlife conservation and wilderness areas in Africa. Its world-wide renowned for its exceptional populations of lion, leopard, Cheetah and African bush elephant. We will arrive, have lunch and then spend the afternoon at leisure. We will later go for an introductory game drive that evening. Accommodation: Sarova Mara camp

DAY 3

Day 3 Nov 5th

Maasai Mara
*Optional Balloon Safari very early in the Morning* One of the best safari experiences in Africa has to be a balloon safari. It is without a doubt a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Drifting above the plains, forests, and rivers of the Masai Mara as you take in the amazing sunrise and animals below feels like a dream come true. This will be followed by a bush breakfast and Champagne. For those that opt out of the balloon safari, you have a choice of going for a morning game drive or sleep in and wake up just in time for breakfast. Later this morning, we will have our first speaker session and then have lunch. We will then go for a game drive in the evening. Accommodation: Sarova Mara game camp

Day 4 November 6

Maasai Mara - Diani We will wake up early in the morning have breakfast and later leave for Nairobi in order to catch a flight to Diani located on the Indian Ocean coast of Kenya. We will reside at The sands at Chale. This is Located on Chale Island along a white sandy beach. The Sands at Chale Island is surrounded by indigenous forest and offers magnificent sea views. We will have dinner and spend the evening at leisure. Accommodation: Sands at Chale

Day 5 November 7

Diani
We will wake up, have breakfast and then have our second speaker session and interaction with the attendees as we get to learn more about each other and set goals for growth in all aspects of our lives. This will be a life changing session! Afternoon will be spent on leisure and we will recommend optional activities as we get close to the trip during our zoom sessions. Accommodation: The sands at Chale Island

Day 6 November 8

Diani
We will wake up, have breakfast and have morning excursions. We will later come back have lunch and spend the afternoon at leisure. We will have a formal group dinner in the evening.

Day 7 November 9

Diani-Nairobi We will wake up, have breakfast and enjoy the last morning in The sands at Chale Island before boarding a local flight back to Nairobi after lunch Accommodation: Fairmont The Norfolk

Day 8 November 10th

Shopping, Carnivore & Flight back home We will wake up, have breakfast and head out shopping at a designated market. We will later have lunch at The Carnivore Restaurant before getting ready for Airport transfer back to US.

Maurice, et al. were very accommodating and always available! They made this trip so wonderful with all the events we had planned! And even if things didn’t go as planned, you weren’t lost in the mix. I can’t say enough how incredible this was and very valuable to be able to take my 7 year old daughter! I have always wanted to go on a dental mission trip to Kenya. When I learned about Safari N Smiles, I immediately knew this was the organization I would want to travel with. It may sound cliché, but this was a life-changing trip. The trip was well organized with a comprehensive plan. If you are looking for a relaxing trip, this is not the trip for you. We were constantly on the move. Every minute spent in Kenya was meticulously planned (thank you Morris and Lizzie). Upon arrival, we were greeted by some locals and staff who were incredibly welcoming. In fact, they made us feel like we were part of their community/family. The hospitality was unlike anything I have ever experienced. We toured most of Kenya and its breathtaking landscapes, visiting many cities/towns, toured a coffee farm, and got to drink delicious Kenyan coffee. Drove in a comfortable land rover throughout our journey, going on 11 game drives we were able to see jaw-dropping wildlife in their natural habitat. We fed giraffes in a sanctuary, saw flamingos in Nakuru National Park, interacted with the Maasai people, cycled and hiked through Hell’s Gate National Park, went on a hot air balloon ride over the safari (with a beautiful champagne breakfast following), took multiple CE courses, and most importantly provided dental care and education to underserved people who otherwise would go without. The gratitude and appreciation of the people that we helped was truly amazing. I would highly recommend traveling with Safari N Smiles, it truly exceeded my expectations. In fact, I’m already planning for the next adventure!

Zero regrets! I took my 13 year old daughter and made memories that will last a lifetime. Not once did she complain about not enough access to WiFi or internet (it was surprisingly available and if you have children you know what I’m talking about). It’s amazing what experiences the world has to offer if we can just look up long enough to recognize them. She spent half a day blowing up balloons for the kids while we did the dental work and realized how easily happiness comes circumstantially. The world needs more of people like Morris and Lizzie enabling the rest of us to see AND to serve. I will travel with them again!

At first I was hesitant to go to the Dental mission trip in Kenya but I’m glad I did together with my son Alex. I can say it’s a great , wonderful and humbling experience . I would do it again and would highly recommend it. It’s all worth it. Thank you and God bless you all. ❤️❤️❤️
